Mass For Life
The World Day for Consecrated Life will be celebrated on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral. Be sure to mark your calendars for this annual diocesan celebration of Consecrated Life. Light refreshments will follow. Parishes are invited to celebrate this event and the contribution that consecrated brothers and sisters have made in the life of your congregation. All are welcomed to attend.
Lakeview School Pantry
Thank you for your continued support for our children with your generous donations to the Lakeview School Pantry. The Lakeview School Pantry is currently in need of the following: Cereal/breakfast bars, Canned fruit, Individual fruit snacks, Crackers, and Individual snacks. A basket is in the vestibule for your donation.
Offertory Counters Needed
St. Robert is currently in need of individuals interested in helping out as an offertory counter on Sunday mornings. Counters work in teams to assist the parish by counting the offertory collection once or twice per month for about an hour. Please contact Jaime Freeman at the parish office if you have any questions call 330-637-4886. Your help is greatly appreciated and needed
Fr. Kish Scholarship Fund
Initiated in 2016, the Fr. Kish Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are members of St. Robert Parish. For more information, contact the parish office.
Bulletin Deadlines
Beginning January 7, the bulletin will now be printed by LPi and shipped to the church weekly. As a result the deadline for submitting materials to the bulletin will change. The new deadline for submitting materials will now be Thursday at 12:00 noon the week before the material is to be printed. For example, if you want something printed in the January 7 bulletin, it must be turned in to the office no later than December 28 or if you want something in the January 14 bulletin the deadline is January 4 (that is a full 10 days!) If you have any questions, please call the parish office.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
We are always in need of volunteers within St. Robert Church. From lectors and cantors, to Eucharistic Ministers, to choir and church cleaners. If you have some time and would like to become more involved in parish life, please call the parish office at 330-637-4886 to get more information.
